Incredible new spot in Saint John! The ramen, shrimp tempura, and poke bowl were super flavorful. The edamame was divine.It feels like a hidden gem you’d find in a bigger city. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the decor is a vibe. 10/10!
We had dinner last night and were very impressed! Once seated, our food didnt take long at all. Everything was delicious. Our server, Cody, was friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. We will be back to try other dishes and to check on Cody's new fancy tech deck 🤣
This was spectacular, the vibes were incredible, the food was delicious and the staff was so kind and amicable. Saint John truly needed a place like this.

Yes, Umami Kid offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Ask our wonderful staff for recommendations, and we’ll be happy to help!
Can I make a reservation online?
Absolutely! You can easily book a table through our reservation page. Select your date, time, and party size, and you’re all set. For parties larger 6, please message us on Facebook, Instagram, or email, or call us at our phone number.

Are there gluten-free options?
As of the moment, due to the nature of our ingredients, the only gluten-free options on our menu are: Beef Gyudon, Mochi Ice Cream, and Sweet & Spicy Edamame. We have future plans on adding more gluten-free options on our menu, so stay tuned!
Is there parking available at the restaurant?
Unfotunately, due to the location of the ramen bar, we are limited to paid street parking only. Parking is free after 5pm and on weekends! Please refer to Saint John's website for more information about street parking.
